Who We Are

Agriculture Victoria Services Pty Ltd is a private company incorporated under the Corporations Act 2001. The Government of Victoria beneficially owns 100% of AVS’s issued capital which is held by the Secretary of the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Change in their capacity of officeholder and an agent of the Crown. The Victorian Minister for Agriculture appoints AVS’s six non-executive directors to a skill-based board in accordance with Victorian Government guidelines. The directors of AVS are responsible for the governance of AVS and its subsidiaries.
