Seednet Appointed Exclusive Partner for Lentil and Field Pea Breeding Programs

Nutrien Ag Solutions Limited (trading as Seednet) has been appointed as the exclusive commercialisation licence partner for elite new field pea and lentil varieties being developed by the State of Victoria through Agriculture Victoria Research in collaboration with GRDC, through the National Field Pea Breeding Program, and the National Lentil Breeding Program.

As an exclusive partner, Seednet will benefit from the breeding programs’ pipeline of elite Field peas and Lentils up until the end of 2025.

A Commercialisation Expression of Interest process was conducted by AVS on behalf of GRDC and AVR to secure the exclusive evaluation and exploitation rights to both field pea, and lentil, variety pipelines.
